Dragon Hunters is, without doubt, an animated film with different proposal. Based on a French series, the scenario created enchants the viewer by their colors and arrangements of elements and gripping story evokes values such as friendship and honor.

In the storyline, a magical kingdom is crumbling for fulfilling prophesies concerning the emergence of a powerful sleeping dragon, which occurs every twenty years, with the display of various signals.
On one hand, a curious young girl, the granddaughter of a king once very powerful, familiar tales and legends of brave heroes believe that even with the decline of that world, there could be hope for the kingdom.

In addition, two adventurers, a barbarian and a rogue east, and a strange dog urine fire, trying to earn a living killing creatures - what they call the dragons.
Note to the scene, very well produced, environments suspended, a masterpiece of artwork.
The story begins to gain more life when, by the imminence of the end, the king wants to send her granddaughter to the convent. The girl flees to the forest, finding the adventurous, the rescue of two "dragons" electric. It is worth noting that the term dragon is applied to all creatures in the movie, then you need to twist a little nose and reveal that detail to watch the animation.
It invites the girl to save the kingdom, as all the king's knights were gone, lost in the chaos that the world was becoming. The king, who is blind, obviously does not see that the two "knights" by granddaughter actually commoners are adventurers. He sends them to the end of the world where they could find the dragon before any signals were detected and were awakened the animal.
The adventurous, the dog and the girl, who persuades them to take her with blackmail humorous follow journey, being intercepted by various types of creatures and seeing the signs of destruction of that world. The barbarian is constantly escaping deterred by his rogue colleague, leaving the girl and taking with them the gold he received as an advance and forgetting that mission of love fairy-tale. The rogue also criticized the girl for her belief in a decent and honorable knights and tales and legends. If there was a sheet RPG for the two adventurers, certainly would be fair and good barbarian and rogue chaotic neutral.
Arriving near the site, the two friends quarrel and split up briefly in one of the peaks more reflective of the film. There, it is evident the choice of an excellent soundtrack, appropriate to different moments of the animation.

One of the other highlights is surely for the fight sequences and the exotic weapons used by the barbarian.
Near the end, there is still, in a dramatic but humorous, questions about belief in the stories romanticized tales-of-fairies. The encounter with the dragon, a creature skeletal and frightening, is the high point of the movie along with the fight against the animal.
Dragon Hunters still has surprises in the end, being a good choice even for the D & D storytellers who want inspiration for different scenarios.
